Entry Level Software Engineer - Austin, TX

Job Overview Company: Cox Automotive - USA. Position: Software Engineer I. Work Shift: Day. Work Location: Hybrid – remote part of the week with 5% required travel. Compensation: Base salary range of $81,400.00 – $122,200.00, plus incentive program eligibility. Responsibilities Collaborate with your team to build, deploy, monitor, and manage high‑performing and highly available production systems. Write readable, maintainable, and efficient code. Collaborate with team members on best practices, code reviews, internal tools, and process improvements. Evangelize new ideas within your team. Explore open‑source or industry‑standard solutions that could fit the organization. Qualifications 18 months experience in object‑oriented programming (C#, Java, C++, or similar) in a job or through schoolwork. Demonstrated experience developing applications. Understanding of programming and database concepts. Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment. High energy, confidence, ambition, and self‑motivation. Effective communication skills. Ability to work in fast‑paced environments. Advanced technical degree and/or related training is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, ReactJS, etc.) is a plus, but not required. Cloud experience is a plus, but not required.
