Some travel to other local clinical sites. Responsibilities Oversees all aspects of the education program to assure compliance with accreditation agency, college, and clinical affiliates. Develops, implements and evaluates curriculum content and structure in accordance with accreditation and College standards. Assures curriculum development in accordance with the mandates of the accrediting agency and college. Assesses the quality of education and implements solutions to improve program education. Reassesses solutions to determine effectiveness. Develops policies and procedures consistent with accreditation requirements for all phases of student education. Provides academic advisement and counseling as needed to students during all phases of the educational program. Provides instruction (clinical, didactic or laboratory) to students enrolled in the program and to members of the healthcare team. Monitors student records to assure consistency with accreditation requirements and College policy. Manages operating and capital budget. Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree unless otherwise required by accreditation agency. Minimum 4 years relevant work experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Special Requirements Ability to meet all relevant qualifications for Program Coordinator as required for Program Accreditation. Credentials in specialty and in good standing with pertinent regulatory agencies. Pay range: $41.28 to $56.76 based on relevant experience. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
