Job Details Location: Blue Skies East – San Antonio, TX 78227 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $14.50 Shift: Evening 3pm – 11pm Benefits Employer Paid Short‑Term Disability for full‑time employees Tuition Reimbursement & Scholarship Programs Employee Assistance Program Employee Referral Bonus Program Generous PTO program Retirement plans Medical, dental, and vision benefits Responsibilities Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including transferring, mobility, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, mobility devices, and care of assistive devices. Assists residents with Instrumental ADL including telephone use, housekeeping, escorting and transportation coordination, and mail delivery. Assists residents with self‑administration of medications, including monitoring and documentation. Assists residents with minor self‑care needs, including toileting, incontinence care, Foley catheter care, and ostomy care. Observes and promptly reports changes in resident physical condition and cognitive or emotional status to the licensed nurse or supervisor. Conducts resident rounds and room checks, monitors environmental safety hazards, and records incidents, errors, accidents, and resident‑to‑resident‑related events. Assists in dining‑related tasks such as escorting residents to the dining room, setting up and cleaning tables, serving meals, and bussing tables. Participates in and supports the resident‑centered activity program. Responds to emergencies and disaster situations in accordance with established procedures. Follows up on reported complaints, problems, and concerns with appropriate staff, residents, or other individuals. Acts as ambassador and public‑relations representative for guests and off‑campus visitors. Maintains currency of all certifications required for employment. Orders and monitors appropriate use of resident care, office, and other supplies. Copies special paperwork or forms and prepares and maintains resident census records. Attends and participates in staff meetings, in‑services, projects, and committees as required. Assists with quality assurance programs and trains new staff when directed. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proof of successful completion and certification of a Texas Food Handlers Program (or complete within 60 days of hire). Preferred: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, AED and First Aid certifications.
