Ultrasound TechnicianUltrasound certificate and ARRT are both required. Days: Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p On Call: Ultrasound call 1 weekday night per week and every 4th weekend. Ultrasound room - general ultrasound only, NO vascular or echo. Department: Radiology - General X-Ray and Ultrasound *Certification Requirements: BLS & ARRT, ARDMS. Department: Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech **NEEDS XRAY EXPERIENCE**** Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. **Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.** **Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract -** How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 2 US Scanners - Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Adults and pediatrics, biopsies - EMR &/or PACS: EMR: EPIC, PACS: McKesson - Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Siemens - Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift?: Supervisor - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 8, 9 hour shifts, cyclic scheduling - Weekend Requirements: Yes - on call rotation - Holiday Requirements: Yes - on call rotation - Call or Standby Requirement?: Yes - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 1 week, M-F 0800-1630 Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past year RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
