Forklift Driver II 2nd Shift
Work Location: Sturgis, MI 49091 Duration: 46 months of contract + possible extension
Job Description:
The Forklift Driver II is responsible for operating gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets to support the loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, and stack materials and products.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 13 years of previous forklift operating experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment. Additional requirements: 1+ years experience required.
