Job Description
Registered Nurse - Home Health

Schedule

Days, 5x8 hours, from 08:00 to 16:30.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.

Requirements

• Active nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience or 1-2 years of medical-surgical or acute care experience.
• Experience with OASIS documentation is required.
• On-call requirement: 3-5 nights per month.
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.55 per mile for travel within a 40-80 mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments and document patient progress according to standards.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and family members.
• Educate patients and caregivers on health management and disease processes.
• Utilize equipment such as pumps, monitors, and wound care supplies as necessary.
