Endocrinologist needed in Roswell, New Mexico - Located 200 miles from Albuquerque, NM; 180 miles from Las Cruces, NM Position Details:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Requirements: - Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree - Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship - New Mexico license to practice medicine
- Examine, diagnose, and provide comprehensive medical treatment for patients with hormonal imbalances, thyroid conditions, osteoporosis, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and other endocrine disorders.
- Counsel patients on endocrinology disorders and their background.
- Order tests and interpret the results of imaging studies.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication.
- Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
- Order supportive care services for patients.
- Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
- Keep up-to-date with endocrinology developments, treatment, and medication.
- Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with specialty and/or position. Benefits:
