Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Palmdale, CA

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure
• Prior pediatric and school-based SLP or SLPA experience preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes is a plus
• Experience with AAC devices, teletherapy, or healthcare settings beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive evaluations for communication and swallowing disorders
• Design personalized, evidence-based treatment strategies
• Implement therapy sessions to progress speech, language, cognition, and swallowing objectives
• Track and document student progress; adjust treatments as needed
• Collaborate with educators, families, and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care
