• Must be able to take call

Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license in the state
• BLS (AHA) certification at hire and ongoing
• ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire, maintained thereafter
• PALS (AHA) within 30 days of hire, maintained thereafter
• At least one year of perioperative experience or comprehensive on-the-job training
• Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Experience in both pre-op and post-op nursing

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care across age groups in the perioperative setting, utilizing the full nursing process
• Coordinate patient care with the surgical team, guide OR Technicians, and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff from assessment through evaluation
• Ensure adherence to policies, regulatory standards, and hospital procedures
• Participate in unit meetings, performance improvement initiatives, and departmental in-services
• Serve as a clinical resource for peers as needed
• Maintain efficient patient flow, unit organization, and quality care standards
