We're hiring a pharmacist who wants to practice clinically in a community retail pharmacy setting. Colorado's scope of practice is one of the broadest in the country. Independent prescriptive authority for hormonal contraception, smoking cessation, and a growing list of conditions; statewide protocol for test-and-treat (flu, strep, COVID); immunization authority across the full schedule; and collaborative practice agreements with local providers. If you went to pharmacy school to do clinical work and ended up counting pills, this is the role.

*What the work actually looks like*

* Running point-of-care testing and prescribing under Colorado protocols (flu, strep, COVID, UTI where applicable)
* Hormonal contraception consultations and prescribing
* MTM and CMR visits with appointment-based scheduling, not squeezed between dispensing
* Immunization clinics and travel health consults
* Collaborative practice with local PCPs we have existing CPAs and are adding more
* Precepting APPE students from [school(s)] required, not optional
* Yes, also verification and dispensing oversight. This is still a retail pharmacy.

*Requirements*

* Active Colorado pharmacist license
* Immunization certification
* APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery or equivalent
* Comfortable documenting clinical encounters and billing medical claims (or willing to learn we'll train)
* Want to precept students

*Nice to have*

* Existing collaborative practice experience
* BCACP, CDCES, or other clinical credentials
* Spanish Speaking
