Job Title: General Production Worker

Location: Fall River, MA

Shift: 6AM - 2:15PM

PAY: $19.50

Job Description

This entry-level position involves working on the production floor, where candidates will be considered for various easy roles. Responsibilities include installing pieces into shaving machines and monitoring their quality, as well as working in the core drilling department to drill holes in abrasive wheels. Work orders will guide the number of pieces to produce, and training will be provided for all tasks, including the use of calipers.

Responsibilities

• Install pieces into shaving machines and ensure the quality of shaved pieces.
• Follow work orders to produce specified quantities of items.
• Work in the core drilling department to drill holes in abrasive wheels and organize them.
• Use calipers for measuring purposes.

Essential Skills

• Reliability and dependability.
• Mechanical aptitude and inclination.
• Ability to communicate in English (read & write).
• Basic math skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools and calipers.
• Forklift operation and machine operating skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and resembles a machine shop. Employees work at their own machine stations within a production team of 30 people. Shifts are from 6 AM to 2:15 PM or 6:30 AM to 2:45 PM, with paid breaks and an early leave policy.

This is a Contract position based out of Fall River, MA.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Fall River,MA.
