Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed in Terrell, TX Do you have a caring heart and desire to make a difference in someone's life? Bristol Hospice Dallas is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as companion volunteers for patients in their final stages of life. What You'll Do Visit patients in their homes, assisted living, or nursing facilities. Offer companionship through conversation, reading aloud, playing games, or simply sitting quietly together. Provide a comforting presence to patients who may not have family nearby. Support emotional well-being through kindness and attentiveness. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Complete Bristol Hospice's volunteer training and onboarding process. Pass background and TB screening (provided at no cost). Have reliable transportation. Time Commitment Flexible with your schedule - Just 1-2 hours a week can make a meaningful impact!
