We are seeking a FedEx Delivery Driver to join our team, responsible for delivering and picking up goods and packages using box trucks or vans on mixed routes. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Full-time typically involves 5 days of 8-10 hour shifts, with the option for a 6th day. The role involves working occasionally on weekends or overtime and collaborating within a small delivery team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customer locations promptly and efficiently
- Load and unload delivery vehicles carefully
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety
- Navigate mixed delivery routes using route planning
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
- Coordinate with team members to optimize delivery schedules
- Handle physical workload associated with loading and unloading
Required Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- Experience in customer service or related fields
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role
- Deadline-oriented with strong time management skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Minimum age of 21 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level delivery driving experience
- Skills in route planning and navigation
- Strong communication and safety awareness
