Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN position available in Oakland, California. This role involves providing specialized care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients within a 12-hour night shift schedule. Candidates are required to bring their California Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work in a teaching hospital environment, supporting critically ill neonates with a comprehensive skill set.

Job Details:

• Location: Oakland, California
• Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level 3 and 4 experience required, including PICU experience
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Schedule: Nights, minimum of 36 hours weekly
• Required Qualifications: CA RN License, BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); minimum 2 years of level 3 & 4 NICU experience, PICU experience preferred
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS; valid California RN license
• EMR Experience: Epic, Cerner
• Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and facilities as needed, with demonstrated understanding of floating requirements within scope of practice.
• Candidate notes: HCP would like to start ASAP. No time off requested, and the candidate has confirmed start date and understanding of floating requirements.
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine and booster, Flu vaccine (status not specified)
• Submission: Two references from most recent employer required at time of submittal.
