Dietary Aide
Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Our treatment philosophy is based on a team approach that treats patients with dignity and respect, while delivering high-quality care.
Position Summary
The overall functions of this position are to prepare and serve regular and special diets to patients and employees under the supervision of the Dietary Manager.
Job Duties
- Follows production sheets for preparation of current and future meals
- Ensures food presentation is pleasant and food temperatures are appropriate on the serving line and in food storage areas
- Follows published menus and completes substitution schedule when necessary
- Serves patients
- Conducts meal clean-up: ensuring floor is swept, tables and dishes are properly cleaned and mopping is completed

Qualifications
Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation. High school graduate or equivalent preferred; Food Handler's Certification required (can be obtained upon hire); (1) year experience in a behavioral health facility highly preferred; Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate with others; Can be relied upon to be at work as scheduled
