The ideal candidate is customer-focused, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Set up, stock, and break down banquet bar areas according to event specificationsPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and responsible mannerInteract with guests in a courteous, engaging, and professional wayEnsure compliance with all state and local alcohol service lawsMaintains full knowledge of beer products and descriptions.Knowledgeable of proper glassware and pouring techniques.Knowledgeable of wine, liquor and other featured beverages.Can prepare tap cocktails to recipe specifications and serving procedures.Knowledgeable about bar food offerings and current promotions.Monitor guest alcohol consumption and handle difficult situations appropriatelyMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area before, during, and after eventsAccurately track and report beverage usage and inventoryWork collaboratively with banquet servers, event staff, and management to ensure smooth event executionWashes glassware according to proper sanitation guidelines.Follows opening/closing checklists to prepare for business and close down at end of shift.QualificationsMust be over 21Previous bartending experience required; banquet or hotel experience preferredTIPS/Serve Safe/ ATAP certified preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.Understands basic money handling and can make proper change and process credit card transactions.Professional appearance and demeanorCommitment to excellent guest servicePosition requires multi-tasking abilitiesAble to Bend, stoop, and kneelTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyWork EnvironmentEvening, weekend, and holiday hours may be requiredFast paced environmentModerate to high noise level*** WE ARE AN EOE & PARTICIPATE IN E-VERIFY ***
