About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversee the delivery of complex structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior engineering professional who combines strong technical expertise with project leadership, team development, client relationship management, and a passion for delivering innovative building solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the analysis and design of structural systems for diverse building projects in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Manage structural engineering projects from design through construction and completion.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Represent the engineering team at client meetings, design reviews, and construction site meetings.
- Conduct site observations and respond to technical queries during construction.
- Mentor and develop engineering and drafting staff.
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Maintain high standards of technical quality, client service, project delivery, and commercial performance.
- Support business development and contribute to building strong client relationships.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of significant structural engineering experience , including project or team leadership.
- Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licence.
- Demonstrated experience leading structural engineering projects during construction.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis, building design, and applicable codes.
- Proven project management, client relationship, and team leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach to project delivery and business development.
- Positions are available in New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; and Boston, MA .
