Provide expert pharmaceutical care at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Warrens, WI. This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with experience supporting diverse clinical areas including Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery, and Medical-Surgical units. The facility manages an average daily census of 10-12 patients, with minimal oncology involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and safely utilizing Pyxis systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in ER, L&D, and Med Surg departments.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and medication order verification.
- Participate in medication management and support clinical protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacy license and credentials.
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Pyxis automated dispensing systems preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment with critical access patient volume.
- Ability to cover on a rotational schedule with 7 consecutive days on and 7 days off.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Assignment Details:
- Start Date: July 6th for the first rotation
- Duration: 13 weeks or longer as needed
- Location: Warrens, Wisconsin
