This role ensures all inventory transactions are processed correctly and efficiently to support production schedules and prevent shortages or overages. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily inventory activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and counting of materials.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the inventory system.Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and monthly physical inventories.Identify and report discrepancies or damaged materials to the Inventory Control Supervisor.Help organize and maintain warehouse areas, labeling, and bin locations for efficient storage.Support the movement of materials between departments and facilities as required.Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and Shipping to ensure timely material availability.Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.Follow all safety procedures and company policies while maintaining a clean and organized work area.Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Inventory Accuracy Rate – Target: ? 98%Cycle Count Completion Rate – Target: 100% adherence to scheduleInventory Turnover Ratio – Target: Maintain balance to minimize overstockReceiving to Stock Location – Target: < 24 hoursSupport to Production Downtime Due to Material Issues – Target: 0 hours per monthWhat We're Looking For:2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or material handling environmentBasic understanding of inventory management systems and practicesExperience with QuickBooks or similar inventory tracking softwareProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate material handling equipmentReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentForklift certification or OSHA safety trainingFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practicesAssociate's degree or coursework in Supply Chain, Business, or related fieldWork Environment:Industrial warehouse/manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery, noise, and fluctuating temperaturesMust wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocolsOne Team One Goal.ASC is an Equal Employment Opportunity Organization.
