Our organization is in search of a General Pediatrician to become part of our successful pediatric practice located in Port Jefferson, NY.

Requirements:- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in General Pediatrics; residents are encouraged to apply.
- New York State License.
- Active DEA License.
- Evaluate the health status of patients and families through comprehensive health histories and physical examinations.
- Initiate selected therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, consultations, and laboratory tests; prescribe or modify medication regimens; interpret findings and adjust care plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and established protocols.
- Provide education and counseling on health promotion, maintenance, disease prevention, and the management of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Document findings and care plans in the patient's medical record.
- Ensure continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management strategies.
- Conduct timely patient record reviews with collaborating physicians.
- Advocate for patients and families, supporting their rights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge relevant to professional practice.
- Serve as a resource and leader for staff members.
