Afterschool Care Assistant

School - Staff - Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic School in Miami, Florida, is looking for an energetic, responsible, and organized part-time Afterschool Care Assistant for the 2026-27 school year. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and dedicated with the ability to oversee students and plan activities. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Schedule: Monday-Friday: 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Qualifications: Department of Children and Family 40-hour training and certification preferred; if candidate does not possess training, must be willing to obtain its completion within the first year of employment. Ability to plan and supervise both indoor and outdoor activities, including homework time for students from grade PreK to 8th grade. Virtus Certified or ready to obtain certification. Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar are required. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Knowledge of the basic tenets of the Catholic Church.
