Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Urology in Potsdam, NY

Doctor of Medicine | Urology Location: Potsdam, NY Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist for an ongoing locum opportunity in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established practice with a strong patient base and immediate coverage needs due to physician departures. The position is primarily outpatient focused while also including inpatient consults, procedures, and post operative rounding as needed. Providers will work in a collaborative environment with experienced clinical support staff and access to modern technology and resources. Schedule • Ongoing assignment • Monday through Friday • Typical hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM • Clinic hours Monday through Thursday extend to 5:30 PM • Full time coverage preferred • Flexible call opportunities based on provider availability • 24 hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Practice Details • Adult patient population only (18+) • Approximately 20 patients per day • Mix of clinic visits, procedures, consults, and rounding • Level III Trauma Center • OR block time available from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM • Epic EMR • Established Urology practice with dedicated support staff Support Staff • 1 Full Time Urologist currently on staff • 2 LPNs • 2 Clinical Assistants • 1 Patient Representative Procedures • Bread and Butter Urology procedures • Surgical cases • Outpatient procedures • Inpatient consults • Post operative care • Limited robotic access available Requirements • MD or DO • Board Certified in Urology (US Board Certification required) • Active New York Medical License required • BLS certification required • Epic experience required • Clean and up to date work history • Physician statement required for any malpractice history, regardless of outcome Benefits • Ongoing long term locum assignment • Full time schedule available • Flexible call options • Established patient volume • Dedicated clinical support staff • Modern Epic EMR system • Mix of outpatient, inpatient, and procedural work • Opportunity to work within a well supported hospital based practice • Immediate coverage need with potential for long term continuity
