ED Boarder Registered Nurse – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Rotating or Straight Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ED boarder patients awaiting inpatient placement
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and throughput
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts or compact license eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience in an Emergency Department or Medical-Surgical setting
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts or straight nights as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience with ED patient boarding or high-acuity medical-surgical patients
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems in an acute care environment
