Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Public Health Nurse license
• School Nurse License (issued by the Board of Teaching)
• Valid CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Experience in school nursing or working with pediatric populations highly preferred
• Demonstrated adaptability and strong organizational skills for a multi-site, itinerant role

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing services districtwide, overseeing students’ health and care across 5 schools
• Collaborate closely with school staff, students, and parents to create a safe, healthy educational environment
• Develop, implement, and update individualized health care plans
• Provide emergency care, dispense medication, and promote wellness initiatives
• Maintain detailed records, documentation, and compliance within all NP/LSN guidelines
