Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading retail technology organization, is seeking a Systems Infrastructure & Deployment Manager to join their team. As a Systems Infrastructure & Deployment Manager, you will be part of the Technology Infrastructure group supporting the Retail Systems and Deployment Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Systems Infrastructure & Deployment Manager

Location: Salisbury or Mooresville, NC (Hybrid - onsite 3 days per week)

Pay Range: $30 - $32/ hour

What's the Job?

• Plan, design, and implement hardware and software systems across the retail enterprise
• Manage deployments, rollout strategies, and sequencing for POS and system upgrades
• Serve as the technical SME for assigned systems such as NCR POS (EX/Emerald)
• Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and business teams to deliver system changes
• Independently lead and execute small to medium technical projects from start to finish

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in systems deployment or infrastructure engineering
• Experience with NCR POS (EX 2.0 or Emerald 1.0)
• Strong analytical, Excel, SQL, and batch scripting skills
• Experience with wireless Android applications and API interactions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in hardware lab environments
