Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS to be obtained before starting date, ENPC within 90 days of hire Must-Have: - 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting - Teamwork mentality - Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the emergency department. The facility is recognized for clinical quality and safety, receiving multiple awards. The emergency department serves as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. It accommodates high patient volumes with a 101-bed capacity and a typical ratio of 4:1. Team members have access to advanced equipment including cardiac monitors. Documentation will be performed using a specified system. Nurses will be required to work every other weekend. The department encourages respectful behavior and a commitment to patient experience. Advanced skills and specific procedures are performed in this unit. Nurses must comply with the dress code by wearing navy scrubs.
