Senior Systems Engineer - Naval Radars

Systems EngineerThe Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team discipline is seeking a Systems Engineer to support important Naval Radar programs. Every day presents a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and testing. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and collaborate to implement solutions.What You Will DoSupport Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.This role is onsite at our RTX facility in Tewksbury, MA or Woburn, MA.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant experience.Experience in one or more of the following: systems hardware, systems integration, or systems test.Qualifications We PreferExperience working in one or more of the following: an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration or verification.Experience with RADAR or Radio Frequency (RF) systemsExperience with military systemsExperience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or other programming languages.Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
