Transactional Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Transactional Associate Attorney to join their team in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and have 3-5 years of experience in real estate, business law, commercial transactions, and/or community associations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of matters in a professional office setting. Duties Conduct legal research and draft transactional documents independently. Attend client appointments and understand client expectations. Engage in special projects and committee involvement. Complete administrative tasks including time reporting and case management. Utilize technology and automation effectively in legal practice. Travel as required to meet business needs. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. Requirements Current license to practice law, in good standing with the Alabama or Florida Bar. 3-5 years of verifiable experience in relevant practice areas. Ability to participate in all aspects of professional activities. Record case time and expenses contemporaneously. Punctuality and adherence to office hours. Strong research skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and file management software. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. High ethical standards and confidentiality in client matters. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Alabama or Florida. Skills Strong legal research and drafting skills. Proficiency in technology and legal software.
