As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team in helping businesses transition to clean, renewable energy.Position SummaryWe are looking for a Pre-Construction Project Manager to support our multiple commercial solar projects.Essential FunctionsSupport multiple projects at the same timeMaintain and develop new subcontractor resourcesCollaborate with Project Managers during the transition from pricing to contractsProduce initial working schedule for projectsProduce, collect, and distribute preconstruction documentationWork closely with clients to gather specific needs, design the configuration of the product(s), and generate an estimate containing all customer requirements.Create project estimates and analysis of subcontractor bidsProduce takeoffsPlan, lead, and coordinate pre-bid and bid meetingsExperiencePreferred – experience in solarMinimum experience: 3 years or more.Required Industry Experience: Solar / Electrical / ConstructionPrior project management experience.Required SkillsAbility to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications with in-depth knowledge of the NEC codesDemonstrated track record of successful project leadership with experience managing construction crews.Understanding OSHA standards and safety requirementsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Able to quickly create and modify take-offs or large projects.Proficiency in Office software, such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software.What We OfferCompetitive Pay401(k)Health / Dental / Vision / Life InsuranceHealth Savings AccountEmployee discount programPaid time offReferral programJob Type: Full-time Schedule:Monday to FridaySolar Gaines is an equal-opportunity employer.
