Medical Records/Unit Clerk
Monday- Friday. No Holidays or Weekends.

Medical Records/Unit Clerk Responsibilities:
Accurately maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Respond to requests for patient information, medications, and test results in a timely and professional manner
Prepare and process medical records for internal and external purposes, including but not limited to, patient transfers, insurance claims, and legal proceedings
Assist with filing, scanning, and data entry tasks to maintain an organized and efficient records storage system
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Collaborate with healthcare staff to resolve medical record-related issues and concerns
Medical Records/Unit Clerk Requirements:
Prior experience preferred
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Familiarity with medical terminology and basic computer skills
