Snowflake Developer Location: San Jose, CA – Onsite – 6+ Months Years of Experience: 10-15 Years Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with extensive experience in software development and a strong expertise in Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that leverage Snowflake's capabilities to drive business insights and improve operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and cloud based data solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize and tune Snowflake queries for performance and efficiency. Implement data governance and security best practices within Snowflake. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices to enhance data solutions. Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the overall data strategy. Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows. Mandatory Skills Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security. Proficient in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts. Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques. Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and services. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Preferred Skills Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java. Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in software development, with a focus on data solutions. Proven track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
