About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to spearhead its fundraising and philanthropic growth during a pivotal expansion phase. The CDO will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization's vision. This includes integrating various fundraising methods such as major gifts, annual giving, corporate partnerships, and events. The successful candidate will serve as the primary major gifts officer, working closely with the CEO to secure significant philanthropic investments. The role also involves leading a high-performing development team, overseeing donor stewardship, and fostering a culture of philanthropy both within the organization and the community. Applicants for the CDO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit development.
