General Production WorkerThe General Production Worker supports the production of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) units by managing incoming battery shipments and preparing materials for assembly. This role focuses on handling, organizing, and transporting battery components throughout the production process to ensure an efficient and consistent workflow on the production floor. Upon conversion to a full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills through cross-training in multiple areas of production, including assembly, equipment operation, and understanding full production line processes.ResponsibilitiesReceive and assist with unloading incoming battery shipments in a safe and efficient manner.Unbox battery packs and organize materials onto pallets for production use.Sort and stage materials in an organized manner to support assembly operations and minimize delays.Transport batteries and components from packaging areas to designated production lines using appropriate methods and equipment.Ensure materials are readily available at production lines to maintain consistent workflow and production efficiency.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with established safety standards and procedures.Support the preparation of assembled BESS units for testing and final production stages when cross-trained.Collaborate with production team members to keep the production floor running smoothly and address material needs promptly.Essential SkillsAbility to perform general production and labor tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Ability to perform repetitive assembly work while maintaining accuracy and quality.Strong attention to detail when handling, sorting, and staging battery components and materials.Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance to support production schedules.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to learn and cross-train in assembly of battery energy storage units (BESS).Interest in learning to operate production machinery and equipment.Desire to understand full production line processes and how material flow impacts efficiency.Ability to support preparation of assembled units for testing and final production stages as skills expand.Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with production staff and supervisors.Why Work Here?You will join a growing production environment where your contributions directly support innovative energy storage solutions. You will work on a Gold 2 shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule, which provides regular, predictable long shifts with built-in days off. The environment involves frequent material handling, repetitive tasks, and close collaboration with other production team members. Safety standards are emphasized, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace is a core expectation.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
