General Manager in Training (GMIT) The General Manager in Training (GMIT) is a developing leader who is preparing to take on the responsibilities of a General Manager. Through hands‑on training, coaching, and real‑world restaurant leadership experience, the GMIT learns all aspects of restaurant operations, team development, financial performance, and guest service while supporting the restaurant management team.
