Key Qualifications:

• Experience in educational settings, particularly as a Paraprofessional or similar support role
• Familiarity with special education, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and behavior challenges
• Ability to assist students both 1:1 and in small groups
• Skilled in providing instructional, behavioral, and emotional support in the classroom
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Adaptable, reliable, and committed to student success

Responsibilities:

• Work 32.5 hours per week for the full school year
• Support special education teachers and staff in a classroom dedicated to serving students with diverse needs
• Provide instructional assistance, facilitate activities, and encourage engagement for students across K-8 grades
• Assist students individually or in small groups, adapting support based on specific learning or behavioral needs
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere while helping students achieve their educational goals
• Maintain strong communication with classroom teachers, specialists, and school staff
