Job Opportunity: PICC Team Registered Nurse

Our organization in San Antonio is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our PICC Team, specializing in vascular access care throughout various inpatient units.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine the most suitable line selection.
• Perform ultrasound-guided insertions of PICC and midline catheters.
• Troubleshoot issues related to central lines.
• Provide education to both patients and staff regarding line care and infection prevention strategies.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Follow evidence-based protocols and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in vascular access or related nursing fields is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
