This full-time position allows for remote work, primarily serving our patients through an outpatient office setting in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations with patients to thoroughly assess their mental health concerns, evaluating symptoms and histories to determine the best course of treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized counseling plans that address specific issues, set achievable goals, and utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in counseling, integrating new techniques into practice to enhance patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting progress and modifying treatment strategies as needed to align with patient needs.
• Engage patients throughout the counseling process to build rapport and trust, ensuring an open and communicative relationship.
• Provide referrals to additional mental health professionals or services when patients' needs extend beyond your expertise or scope of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse population, including adults and adolescents experiencing various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. A strong focus is placed on holistic treatment methods that empower clients and foster resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required as a minimum educational qualification.
• Possession of all necessary state licenses and certifications to practice as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of creating a safe space for clients to freely express their thoughts and feelings.
• The ability to customize treatment approaches based on each patient's unique challenges and aspirations.
• A proactive attitude toward referrals and collaboration with other healthcare providers when necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical setting working with a variety of mental health issues is highly preferred.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver counseling services effectively in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other relevant modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we provide:
