Job Details Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing Location: Knoxville, TN 37923 Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Shift Duration: 8-hour day shift Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Orientation: 40 hours Call: Required, including weeknight and weekend call coverage Scheduling: Self-scheduling environment Float: May be required based on staffing needs Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of current Operating Room experience required Prior travel nurse experience required BLS and ACLS certification required NIHSS certification required or obtainable after acceptance Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date Cerner experience preferred Experience circulating and managing total joint cases strongly preferred Willingness to complete orientation, modules, and facility compliance requirements Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the facility Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room Circulate for a variety of surgical procedures, including total joints and complex specialty cases Support cases in orthopedics, robotics, neuro, urology, laparoscopic, and general surgery Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members to ensure efficient workflow Maintain accurate documentation and support medication workflows using the designated EMR/system tools Participate in call coverage, holiday rotation, and float assignments as needed Deliver compassionate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations Follow all scheduling, time-off, and compliance guidelines throughout the assignment Apply now for this Knoxville, TN travel Operating Room RN opportunity and join a skilled surgical care team today.
