Provide outstanding customer service by answering calls and assisting both staff and insurance representatives. Monitor and manage authorization statuses using computer reports and maintain clear, accurate documentation. Safeguard sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism. Collaborate across multiple departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient service delivery. Identify and resolve authorization challenges quickly by working closely with your supervisor and the team. Play an active role in training new employees on authorization processes and best practices. Qualifications High school graduate or GED Minimum of one (1) year of experience in health care billing and/or authorization practices General knowledge of the framework, organization, and function of home care Sound knowledge of health care operations and third-party reimburesment Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Exploreer) with the ability to learn industry specific software applications Solid organizational skills, throughness, and a keen attention to detail with the ability to multi- task while prioritizing effectively Ability to work independently and in a team enivronment Excellent, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor About our Line of Business Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides quality and compassionate services in the comfort of home, providing support for patients, families, and caregivers in their time of need.
