Position Summary/Purpose of Position: The purpose of the position is to provide executive-level professional assistance to the Senior Vice President and Provost, to the Director of the Office of the Provost, and to select members of the Provost Senior Staff Leadership Team. This role serves as the lead scheduler for the Senior Vice President and Provost. Additionally, this position will provide communications support to the office that includes drafting executive level briefings and editing the Provost Website. The position will also serve as support to various Provost's Office committees, task forces, projects, and initiatives. Other responsibilities include serving as transportation coordinator, scheduling conference spaces, managing subscriptions, ordering supplies, general office operations and other projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Experience: A minimum of three years of UMD campus or executive-level scheduling experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated aptitude for cultivating good working relationships with people at all levels.
• Expert-level understanding of G Suite, especially Google Calendar, is essential.
• Attention to detail including proficiency with editing and proofreading is crucial.
• This position requires a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Preferences: Additional Certifications: Additional Information: Salary Range: $67,200 - $84,000 Job Risks Not Applicable to This Position Physical Demands Work is performed in a busy office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items. May be required to walk short distances, deliver and pickup materials, and travel to meetings on and off campus.
