Maintains tools and supplies - 10 % - Maintains tools and supply inventory; makes purchases as needed. - Maintains and repairs tools and equipment. Performs a variety of related duties - 20 % - Assists in setting- up for special events. - Provides assistance to other department personnel as needed. - Performs custodial maintenance as assigned. - Performs other duties as assigned.High school diploma or equivalent required. More than two years of related experience required. Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Georgia for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.Knowledge of facilities maintenance principles and practices. Knowledge of best practices and safety procedures. Knowledge of carpentry repair and construction principles. Skill in the safe and efficient operation of a variety of hand and power tools. Skill in decision making and problem solving. Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
