Become the Dietitian You Aspire to Be

In this role, you will:

• Communicate with and counsel patients based on physician directives and dietary instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
• Evaluate referral orders to assess the adequacy of nutritional intake methods.
• Document relevant information in patients' medical records in accordance with established standards.
• Implement nutritional care plans, modify menus, and assist patients with specific dietary requirements.
• Conduct calorie counts and provide suitable recommendations.
• Review, update, and approve menus for nutritional adequacy.

Qualifications

• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
• State licensure is mandatory.
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a focus on Food & Nutrition.
• One year of clinical dietetics experience is preferred.
