Operations Support Technician

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This part-time role is built for someone who wants to be up early, on the move, and done by early afternoon. You'll be the person who keeps our crews stocked, our trucks ready, and our operations running smoothly, handling the supply runs, pickups, drop-offs, and errands that let our field teams stay focused on the job. You'll work closely with our Operations Coordinator and Crew Chief to make sure nothing slows our crews down.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Pick up and deliver chemicals, supplies, and parts from local vendors and suppliers to our warehouse.

• Fuel, stock, and prep trucks and trailers before crews roll out each night.

• Transport equipment and trucks for repairs and maintenance as needed.

• Monitor inventory and restock trucks and warehouse with hoses, fittings, chemicals, PPE, and crew supplies.

• Pick up rental equipment and return items to vendors when needed.

• Perform basic pre-trip checks on vehicles (fluids, tires, lights) before crews head out.

• Communicate proactively with the Operations Coordinator on delays, needs, and completed tasks.

• Assist with quick job-site drop-offs and pickups to keep crews moving on schedule.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO...

• Is reliable and available daily, early mornings (7:00 AM start).

• Has a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Has access to reliable transportation.

• Has hands-on experience towing and hauling trucks, trailers & equipment.

• Is organized and detail-oriented, and can manage multiple stops efficiently.

• Is very mechanically inclined.

• Communicates clearly and follows through without needing to be chased down.

• Enjoys being on the go rather than sitting behind a desk.

• Wants steady, flexible part-time hours with a growing, respected company.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Required Experience

• Highly mechanically inclined
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple stops/errands efficiently
• Clear, proactive communicator who follows through without needing to be chased
• Able to perform basic pre-trip vehicle checks (fluids, tires, lights)
• Comfortable towing and hauling trucks, trailers, and equipment

Preferred Experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience with basic vehicle/trailer maintenance or repair
• Warehouse, logistics, or supply-running experience
