What You’ll Do:

• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and optimize upcoming surgical patients.
• Review patient histories, physicals, and relevant information for surgical candidates.
• Utilize hospital protocols and resources for patient optimization.
• Collect and analyze clinical data and chart reviews.
• Identify referrals and coordinate with the surgical and anesthesia teams across multiple specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in an outpatient setting focused on pre-op assessments.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and adherence to clinical standards.

What You Need:

Required:

• Active BLS certification
• NY license in hand
• Epic experience
• Board-certified APP with appropriate experience for pre-op/pre-anesthesia
• No gaps of 30+ days in work history
• Must provide a recent CV and contact info

Preferred:

• Experience working in outpatient, pre-operative assessments
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a team
