Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process in an operating room setting
• Perform circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and ophthalmic procedures
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
• Carry out functions in accordance with facility policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines
• Support both inpatient and outpatient surgical cases for adult and pediatric patients
• Remain available to participate in emergency surgical cases as needed within a 24/7 surgical services environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous OR circulating experience required
• Experience in Orthopedic, OB-GYN, and General surgery required
• Proficiency with CPSI EMR system or ability to adapt to facility-provided electronic medical records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Urology and Ophthalmic surgical specialties preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
