Press Support Turret Rewinder - 2nd Shift

2nd shift, Turret Rewinder / Machine Operator Monday through Friday 1:45 pm – 10:00 pm. We are currently looking for a Machine Operator (Turret Rewinder) to join our team. Experience is not required but is a bonus. The candidate will partner with and support our Press Operators. Benefits Base hourly rate plus a $2.00 shift differential for any hours worked on 2nd shift. Regular schedule (after training): Monday – Friday, 1:45 pm – 10:00 pm. Training on 1st shift Monday – Friday, 5:45 am – 2:00 pm for approximately 2–3 weeks until ready to transition. Responsibilities Continuously checks for print and seam quality. Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together according to specifications. Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure. Handles rolls and palletizes them to avoid damage. Understands basic printing and seam-related defects. Records and enters data on designated paperwork and in the company operations system (Globetek). Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide to calculate label counts and conversions using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume, and distance. Ability to use simple Windows-based applications. Physical demands: standing, walking, using hands and arms; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; capable of lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Vision: good close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
