The Insightful Journeys Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) to join our progressive team, focusing on the mental health challenges faced by children and adolescents. This full-time remote position enables you to deliver specialized therapeutic services through a telehealth platform, providing care to young patients in a flexible and supportive manner.

Work Environment\nThis role offers a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong professional connection with our team. Leveraging telehealth technology, you will engage with patients in a secure and supportive environment, ensuring access to critical mental health services without geographical barriers. Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on patient needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of children and adolescents, gathering insights from family dynamics and individual histories. \n
- Craft and execute personalized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s developmental stages and therapeutic needs, integrating evidence-based techniques. \n
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions, emphasizing collaborative strategies that involve parents and guardians in the healing process. \n
- Engage in crisis intervention, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies to stabilize and guide affected young individuals. \n
- Coordinate closely with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment pathways, and community resources that may enhance their support network. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient safety and data integrity. \n
- Contribute actively to team meetings, providing insights during case consultations and participating in professional growth opportunities. \n
- Stay up-to-date with current research, advanced methodologies, and best practices in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry to maintain the highest standards of care. \n
In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents experiencing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, major depression, ADHD, and various behavioral issues. Your compassionate approach and expertise will empower young clients to develop coping skills and resilience while navigating their emotional landscapes.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois. \n
- Proven knowledge and expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment methods. \n
- Experience delivering therapeutic interventions and family therapy to a diverse array of young clients. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families. \n
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and adeptness in managing digital health tools. \n
- A collaborative spirit, eager to engage with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. \n

- Minimum of two years of clinical experience working in child and adolescent mental health. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth systems and remote counseling practices. \n
The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, complemented by the potential for bonuses and a sign-on incentive.
