Backhaul/ Logistics Class A CDL Driver

Performance Food Group is seeking a Backhaul/ Logistics Class A CDL Driver to support our fast-paced wholesale food distribution network. Based from our Richmond-area operations, you will safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer to complete backhaul routes from vendors and company facilities, returning products, pallets, and freight to our distribution centers. Responsibilities include conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring DOT and FMCSA compliance, managing ELDs and logs, and maintaining accurate bills of lading and return documentation. You’ll work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams to optimize trailer utilization, support efficient routing, and uphold strict food safety and product-handling standards. In our safety-first, performance-driven culture, you’ll be recognized for on-time, incident-free operations, professionalism with vendors and facility contacts, and teamwork across logistics and supply chain functions.
