Intellectual Property Paralegal
Proxy Legal Staffing & Search Group has partnered with a well-respected regional law firm to identify an experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to join its growing team. Responsibilities include preparing and filing U.S. and foreign patent, trademark, and copyright applications. Draft prosecution documents and USPTO forms. Manage IP docketing deadlines and maintain electronic files. Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and foreign associates. File documents through USPTO, WIPO, and related systems. Assist with Office Actions, maintenance fees, portfolio management, and other IP prosecution matters.
Qualifications include 3+ years of patent and trademark prosecution experience preferred. Experience with U.S. and foreign IP filings. Familiarity with Patent Center, TEAS, TSDR, ePCT, and IP docketing software. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
