Certified Commercial Health Actuary

A company is looking for a Commercial Health Actuary to join their team for commercial health insurance underwriting. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and analyze health insurance applications to determine risk and set premium rates Interpret and analyze claims experience to inform underwriting decisions and policy adjustments Collaborate with sales teams to develop competitive insurance products and strategies Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Professional actuarial credentials (e.g., ASA, FSA) are required Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial health insurance underwriting Experience working with sales teams in competitive situations is highly desirable Familiarity with underwriting software and tools
